What is PME?

The Perkins Magnet Enrichment Fund (PME) is an endowment working to emphasize the arts throughout our school’s entire curriculum. Created in 1995, it is a non-profit organization that strives to ensure that Perkins’ Magnet program meets and exceeds original magnet goals. It accepts tax-deductible donations and is administered through the Pinellas County Education Foundation (PCEF).

We are looking for a new Board Member – contact Christine Ferkile

With oversight from Perkins Principal Tony Pleshe, Magnet Coordinator Laura Kranzel, and a volunteer board made up of Perkins parents, the PME hosts fundraisers and arts enrichment events for students and families. Funds raised from these events help pay for arts related field trips, art camp scholarships, hosting professional performances for students, playwriting workshops and of course, arts supplies for our many arts classes.

PMA Laptop Purchase Program

We have purchased the final lease on the computers for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade.
