Our new
Magnet Program Coordinator

Hello Perkins Families!
I am thrilled to be your new Magnet Coordinator!
My background includes working at various elementary schools in Pinellas
County in multiple positions. These experiences have given me the framework
to realize just what a gem Perkins is!
My first goal for this year is to meet and get
to know all of the students and their families. Please help me achieve this
goal by stopping in to chat with me when you are able.
We have already hit the ground running with a
fabulous group of students this year. They have been creating art and music,
singing, dancing, acting and learning up a storm! It is really very
impressive. Strings classes have begun and Focus groups are just around the
corner for our fourth and fifth graders. Spanish classes are also in full
swing. Oh, and don't forget about the steel drum band!
Perkins is currently in need of a part time band
instructor. We have had applicants but are diligent in finding just the
right person to fill this important position.
Thanks for such a wonderful beginning! We can't
wait to see you at all of our future events and performances!
