Fall Festival

THANK YOU!

What an awesome Fall Festival!

Rain or shine (and there was plenty of both), the event was a great success and tons of fun. Our Perkins parents really came through to run the show. Parents donated food, toys, books, many prizes, but mostly TIME. Thank you!

Fifth grade patrols were on the scene throughout the day and working hard – great job! Our administrators and staff (Terek, Casey, Miss Gloria, to name a few), you’re awesome! Teachers (as usual) went the extra mile creating fun events for all the festival-goers.

A special thanks goes to festival chair Michele Crawford and right-hand helpers Judy Anderson, Brenda Dutenhaver, Sue Bley, Carole Crane, Cheryl Bouchelle, Marie MacCollum,  Allison Matheny, Janice Barnett, Laura Newman, Claudia Sieling, Vicki Peksens and many, many others. Thanks to all of you who made the day a fun event!

The PTA profit from the Festival was about $1200. This is in addition to the several hundred dollars each grade raised on their individual fundraisers. The media sale was a huge success, bringing in $500. That money goes directly to purchasing new books for the library.

The top winner of the chili cook-off was Allison Matheny. Thanks to all who participated.
